The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy is a
non-invasive, external massage that guides internal abdominal
organs into their proper position for optimal health and well being.
This massage improves organ function and blood flow by releasing
physical and emotional congestion from the abdomen which is
effective for both women and men.

Our reproductive or digestive organs may have shifted, potentially restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve impulses, and chi. This displacement of the uterus (tipped uterus) or congestion of the prostate causes most of the common female and male reproductive oriented issues, as well as, a host of seemingly unrelated aliments.

Digestive complaints that are often associated with stress and emotional anxiety have a constrictive effect on the connective tissue surrounding vital digestive organs. Abdominal Massage unwinds restricted tissue, naturally allowing for improved digestion, increased circulation, and proper assimilation of nutrients.

Abdominal massage of this type is a therapeutic treatment that has been known and practiced by traditional healers for thousands of years but forgotten in this century.

So often, modern medicine tends to focus on relieving symptoms, rather than the causes of disease. These ancient techniques treat the primary causes, thereby preventing the progression of symptoms to a chronic disease state and allowing the body to use its inherent ability to self-heal. These massage techniques were developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo who has lived among traditional healers in Central America for over 30 years.

During this time, Dr. Arvigo apprenticed with Don Elijio Panti one of the last true Maya Shamans. From this, she combined her knowledge of medical science, herbal remedies, and traditional healing to produce a holistic path to physical, emotional and spiritual health through the abdomen.
